Savannah-Chatham Council on Disability Issues
The purpose of the Savannah-Chatham Council on Disability Issues is to facilitate and coordinate community efforts to improve the quality of life for citizens with disabilities in the City of Savannah and Chatham County through advising and advocating with local leaders. Meetings are held the 4th Monday of every other month beginning in February of each year at 3:00 pm at the Metropolitan Planning Commission Building. SCCODI can be contacted through their website.

Southeast ADA Center (Southeast DBTAC)
The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) has funded a network of ten regional Disability & Business Technical Assistance Centers (DBTAC s). These centers provide information, training and technical assistance to business and agencies covered under the ADA, and to people with disabilities who have rights under the ADA. The Southeast DBTAC serves Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
